The title track is your most beautiful voice, an appropriate eponymous celebration for an album so replete with exhortations to the fullest love, the deepest spiritual seeking, the necessary disclosure to the unknown, the most radical self-revelation, the fullest expression. It kind of haunts me, this one, another mantra. It's also very danceable. I sometimes fear I miss something in your songs, or am overly subjective in my interpretations, though of course that is part of the beauty of creation, people see themselves reflected in its forms, but I see this song as connected to one of my own deepest concerns, the sacrifice inherent in expression. I love the message, and it's rare for me to say it, but I wish I had written this. - Ethan

Lyrics

False start
Tear it all apart
Throw you off the trail
Let you see me fail
Make a first impression
Deep enough to never die

Dive in
Before you learn to swim
Don’t you make a sound
As you splash around
Ride another wave
Until you’re brave enough to fly

Party girls learn to rely on a friend
Party boys learn to deny ‘til the end

Eat your heart out
It’s essential
It’s the best way to reach your potential
(repeat)

Wear my heart
Twice on each sleeve
Bleed for my art
Until you believe
Baby, my part
Isn’t one you’d want to play

Talk about the things you don’t see
Spirits don’t move unless they are free
